Virginia L. Lyon

Virginia L. Lyon, 86, of Bath, NY passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Virginia was born in Bath, NY on January 26, 1933, to James A. and Violet E. (Beebe) Gilbert.

Virginia retired from Mercury Aircraft in Hammondsport, NY.

Virginia is survived by her Sisters, Beverly (Hugh) Stafford, Doris Robinson, Irene Applebee all of Bath and Sharon (Glenn) Bohel of TX; Brother, Kenneth (Betty Jean) Gilbert of Bath; several Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Lyon, brother, Edward Gilbert, James Gilbert, Robert Gilbert, Lawrence Gilbert, sisters, Peggy Jane Brewer, Bernice Brady and several aunts and uncles.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mitchellsville Cemetery, Mitchellsville, NY.
