Timothy J. Sample

Timothy J. "Tim" Sample, 61 of Elmira, NY died January 29, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Tim was born February 11, 1959 in Elmira, NY the son of Richard H. and Eleanor A. (Durkin) Sample Jr.

Tim was a graduate of Horseheads High School.  He retired from Corning Inc.

Tim is survived by his Children; Megan (Jeremy) Shaffer of NC, Joshua (Sarah) Sample of MN and Melissa (Tee) Sample of Schenectady; Grandchildren, Cory, Trinity and Tiana; Mother, Pat Sample of Elmira; Sister, Susan (Joseph) Strong of Elmira; several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.  He was predeceased by his father Richard H. Sample Jr. and brother Kevin R. Sample. 

At Tim's request there will be no services.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
