Thomas Michael Mahoney

Tom "Bones" Mahoney, age 66, of Beaver Dams, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

He was born March 11, 1956 in Corning, NY the son of the late Thomas J. and Patricia L. Mahoney.

Tom attended St. Mary’s Catholic School, Corning Free Academy Middle School and Corning Painted Post East High School. Right after High School he went to work for the Conrail Railroad working out of Baker Street yards and later out of Harrisburg, PA.

He loved to tinker with tearing things apart, fixing them and putting them back together (amazingly sometimes he left a part or two out and it would still work!) At a young age he fell in love with any kind of machines that had wheels and would go fast; the faster the better!

Tom is survived by his Son, Matthew B. Mahoney; Grandchildren Maddox Mahoney, Quinn Mahoney, Cayden Mahoney, Clayton Mahoney and Lilyan Cornell; Brother, Steve (Linda) Mahoney of Corning, NY; Sisters, Suzy Tiller of Houston, TX and Patti (Mort) Gridley Jr. of Corning, NY; Nephews, Patrick and Shawn Mahoney; Niece Ashley Dann.

He was predeceased in death by his parents Tom and Pat Mahoney, his girlfriend Vicki, and his daughter Meghan Mahoney.

At Tom's request there will be no services.
