Thomas E. Loughridge

Painted Post, NY - Thomas E. "Tom" Loughridge, 86, of Painted Post, NY, died Friday, February 16, 2018, at Robert Packer Hospital.

He was born November 25, 1931, in Corning, NY, the son of Arland L and Kathryn (Kennedy) Loughridge. He was a loving brother and a great father and friend to all he knew.

Tom was a corporal serving in the U.S. Army and wounded in Korea.

He was a retired Engineer for Dresser-Rand in Painted Post.

Tom is survived by his Daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Loughridge and her significant other, Eric Walworth of Halstead, PA and their four legged friend, Lilly; Sisters, Lucia (Elmer) Huels of Lindley, Linda (Leroy) Kasper of Columbia Cross Roads, PA and Sibyl (Doug) Ginnan of Corning; many Nieces and Nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Vera E. (Young) Loughridge, sisters, Joan Towner and Myrtle Wheeler, half brothers, Fred and Ike Loughridge.

The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lindley, NY.
