Terry A. Axtell Sr.

Terry Axtell passed away at home on March 31, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Terry was born in Ithaca, NY on June 4, 1957. He was raised in Big Flats, NY and went to East High School in Corning, NY until serving in the United States Army in 1975.

Terry worked for Corning Incorporate for 14 years before going to Tom's South Corning Collision for almost 20 years. He loved working there and being able to stay in touch with all the locals. The ultimate "Car Guy", he loved tinkering on, painting and talking anything car-truck related.

A devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother, Terry is survived by his Wife Theresa of Addison, NY, his Brother, Larry (Elsie) Axtell also of Addison, NY, his Children Terry Jr. (Sabrina Marvin) Axtell and Julie Axtell both of Painted Post, NY, Brandon (Tarea) Mattison of Osceola, PA, Samantha Hoaglin of Addison, NY and Vanessa (Brian) Grant of Cameron, NY, Grandchildren, Jeremiah Marvin, Ciera Axtell, Alexander Axtell, Alexia Axtell, Laicey (Nicholas) Miller, Karizma Lathrop, Jasmine Randall, Haley Woughter, Kalob Woughter, Brandon Jr. Mattison, Noah Mattison, Great Grandchildren, Carson and Presley Miller.

Terry was predeceased in death by his parents Lawrence and Eloise Axtell.

As for Terry's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be determined by the family at a later date.
