Teresa Klokus Schutt

Teresa Klokus Schutt, 82, of Corning, New York left this earth on her heavenly journey to join loved ones on….

Teresa was born October 3, 1941, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Anthony Klokus and Anne Drozd.

Teresa was a graduate of CFA (Class of 1959).

Teresa and Floyd Schutt were married on July 4, 1995, at Cranberry Lake in Thurston, NY.

Teresa loved collecting costume jewelry and would often shop at Flea Markets, Good Will and the Salvation Army looking for those treasured items.  She especially loved spending time with Floyd riding in the car.

Teresa leaves behind her loving husband of 29 years, Floyd Schutt of Corning, NY; son, Robert Scott Sharpe and his wife Grace of Corning; sister-in-law Marcia Klokus; nephew Ron Klokus; niece Aliza Klokus; special nephew Giacamo F. Tallarida along with several other nieces and nephews; grandchildren Julie Axtell, TJ (Sabrina) Axtell and 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her parents, first husband of 25 years Robert Sharpe, son Ryan Lee Sharpe, brother Ronald Klokus and sister Barbara Klokus.

At Teresa’s request there will be no calling hours.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in the family plot at Hope Cemetery.
