Sandra Sue Taylor

Sandra Sue Taylor age 71, of Lindley, New York left this earth on her heavenly journey to join loved ones on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.  

She was born July 30, 1950 in Corning, NY. She was the daughter of the late Lewis E. Winfield and Edith N. Conable. She married Larry A. Taylor on August 3, 1968 in Caton, NY.

Sandy was a 1968 graduate of West High School. She retired from Towne & Country Veterinary Hospital in South Corning.

Sandy had a passion to knit, crochet and bake.  She was looking forward to teaching her great grandson to bake and her great granddaughters to knit and crochet.  She loved to spend time with her family.  She will be remembered for her love of animals and nature.

She is survived by her son Miles (Jessica) Taylor of Corning; brother, Paul (Dorothy) Winfield of Mooresville N.C.; sisters, Melanie (James) Haner of Lindley, Colleen (Lee) Aumick of Lindley; Grandsons, Austen (Vennessa) Taylor of Corning, Kevin (Cassandra) Taylor of Penn Yan; Great Grandchildren, Jaylene Colon, William Colon, Leilani Ortiz, Rylan Taylor of Penn Yan, Emmett Taylor of Corning; god daughter, Ellen Stevens of Elmira; also survived by several aunts, nieces, and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents and husband Larry A. Taylor, and daughter Laurie Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Acly-Stover Funeral Home, 327 East Second Street Corning, NY from 11 am- 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Austen Taylor officiating.  Interment and committal prayers will follow in Coopers Cemetery, Coopers Plains, NY.
