Ruth E. Rouse, 76, of Caton, NY passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Corning Hospital.
She was born on June 17, 1946 in Odessa, NY. The daughter of Arthur and Lillian George.
Ruth had worked for McCarthy Insurance in Corning, NY. She was an avid bowler. She loved plants, flowers and birds.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Jimmy Rouse of Corning, son Charles (Erin) of Syracuse, daughter Julie (Joe) Smith of SC, sister-in-laws, Rosamond Blackham of Bath, Betty Schulmerich of Marion and Connie Rouse of Towanda, grandchildren, Brittni, Brandin, Triniti, Alex, Owen, Brielle and Jordana. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 11-1 p.m. A Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Syd McCrorey Officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY.
