Ronald L. Horton Sr.

Ronald L. Horton Sr., 64 of Corning, New York went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Corning Hospital.

Ronald was born on October 20, 1957 to the late Reathon Loder and Carolyn Horton Loder-Bowen in Birmingham Alabama.

In 1966, he moved to Buffalo, New York. where he joined New Asis Missionary Church and was Baptized at a young age. He graduate from East High School on the Honor Roll.

Ronald joined the Marines and later joined the National Guards.

Ronald moved to Corning, New York where he united with Friendship Baptist Church. He traveled with his church to the Island of Jamaica to do Humanitarian Work.

Ronald was very smart. He loved to talk and make people laugh. He loved his family.

Ronald leaves behind his Son Ronald Horton Jr., 2 Grandchildren Ronald lll and Reina, his Mother Carolyn Bowen (James ), 4 Sisters and 1 Brother  Angela Aldridge, Yolanda Loder-Taitt  (Chedwin), Jennifer Loder -Turner, Stanley Loder, Cheryl Hill and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 120 Pearl Street Ext, Corning, New York. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Military Honors.  Burial will be in Bath, National Cemetery.
