Robert E. Lull, age 99, of Watauga Ave., Corning, NY, died on July 15, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Ithaca, NY on November 22, 1918, the son of Harold M. and Margaret M. (Martin) Lull.
Robert and Liselotte Lull were married in 1953, in the First Presbyterian Church of Corning. She predeceased him in January 2018.
Mr. Lull retired as an attorney from his law practice Robert E. Lull Esquire serving 50 years in Corning.
At the age of 11, Mr. Lull went to Washington and had his picture taken with President Herbert Hoover after winning a speaking contest.
He received his Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University (Class of 1948) and receiving his Doctor of Law in 1969 from Cornell. He taught Trigonometry at age 20 to high school students.
Mr. Lull was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army Infantry. He serviced in France, Belgium and Germany as a combat infantryman receiving 5 battle stars and a bronze star.
Mr. Lull was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Corning, NY, serving as a former Trustee, the Corning Country Club for over 40 years, former Board Member of the American Red Cross and member of the Salvation Army.
He loved to dance with his wife at the Corning and Elmira Country Clubs for over 40 years while dining on Prime Rib and Manhattans. He enjoyed a baseball game and was a loyal Mets Team fan.
Mr. Lull leaves behind Patricia Bonnell who was like a daughter to the Lulls for many many years and a special friend Sandra K. Southard.
Mr. Lull was predeceased by his brothers, Lt. Albert Raymond Lull, Harold M. Lull Jr. and a sister, Miss Adeline C. Lull.
