Richard "Rick" A. Eygabroat, 74 of Bath, NY passed away suddenly on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Ira Davenport Hospital after a recent injury and surgery.
Rick was born February 27, 1947 in Rochester, NY the son of Jacob Eygabroat and Virginia Eygabroat (Richardson).
He was married and divorced twice. Chris Andrews was his longtime companion and great friend.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was accepted into UDT Frogman scuba diving Program.
Rick worked for Ingersoll Rand as a machinist and worked in other machine shop locations.
He is survived by his Children, Sharlene (Eygabroat) Parker and Spouse, Robert Parker, Richard C. Eygabroat, Devan Levack and Trisha Levack, who he thought of as if she was his own daughter. He had two grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
In his younger years, Rick was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Corning and served as an alter boy. He achieved the highest award of God and Country Eagle Scout.
Later in life, he was best known for his love of music and years of musical performing talents. He was known by many as Rick Whiskey and The Whiskey River Road Band as many years ago he had a band and played music all over the twin tiers and beyond.
He was an avid deer hunter, trapper and fisherman, participating in many fishing tournaments. He loved talking about his many stories of the past and had a great sense of humor. He will now be officially, "GONE FISHING" and "Hunting from the Lord's biggest tree stand in the sky".
Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery, Bath. Military services will be held at a later date.
