Richard D. "Dick" Johnson, 77, of Lindley, New York, passed at the comfort of the Bampa's House surrounded by his family on December 5, 2024.
He was the son of Raymond and Kathleen (Soule) Johnson, born in Corning, NY on July 1, 1947.
Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diane Johnson of Lindley, NY, his three children Tammy Peaslee (Ed Strong) of Corning, NY, Todd (Jennifer) Johnson of Lindley, NY and Jason Johnson (Jenny Shores), of Ridgeberry, PA, sister Eileen (Buddy) Leach of Houston, TX, loving grandchildren, Kyle, Brittany, Kelsey, Collin, Connor, Kendall, Ben, and Mason, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dick was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He was a hobby farmer and past Highway Superintendent for the Town of Lindley. You could find Dick tinkering in the garage if he wasn't helping someone in need. Besides his dog RAVEN who was with him constantly, his family always came first.
There will be no public service. The family asks in lieu of flowers donations to be directed to Bampa's House in Corning. A special thank you to the people at Bampa's House for their loving care and support during his final days.
