Polly Ann Prentice

Polly Ann Prentice, age 87 of Corning, NY passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at home with her family by her side.

She was born September 27, 1934 in Corning, NY the daughter of Atlanta Ruth Jenkins Simpson and Harold M. Simpson.

Polly was a Registered Nurse having worked for the Elmira Psychiatric Center in Elmira, NY.

She loved to sew and enjoyed making things for her grandkids.  

Polly was the eldest of five children. She was especially close with her sister Joan.  

She is survived by her sons David Prentice of Houston, TX, Timothy (Val) Prentice of Magnolia, DE, Robert (Beth) Prentice of Corning, NY and Patrick Prentice of Sayre, PA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents and son Brian Prentice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her home, 11094 River Road, Corning, NY on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
