Nancy Lynn Hunt-Harvey

Nancy Lynn Hunt-Harvey passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2022, at URMC. She was the wife of Bonnie S. Hunt-Harvey. They shared 15 years together.

Born in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of Donald A. Hunt and Carol J. Grunder. She graduated from Corning East High School in 1983. She was employed at Demets {Pladis} facility in Big Flats, NY as the Manufacturing Production manager. She also worked at Toshiba Display Devices in Horseheads, NY. She was an extremely dedicated worker who cared and took pride in her employees and work. She enjoyed a variety of music, sitting on her deck, and her annual family vacations to Myrtle Beach. She was always a passionate football fan and forever a dedicated Denver Broncos Fan. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and ability to make an entire room laugh.

She is survived by her wife Bonnie S. Hunt-Harvey, Father Figure William Marland, children: Ashley Preston (Damon Shepherd), April (Patrick) O’Dell, Dale (Madison) Blake, Grandchildren: Bentley Manuilow, Brodie and Laynee O’Dell, brother Donald (Erma) Hunt, nephew Joseph Hunt, great nephew Christopher Buchanan, brother in law Ronald (Renee) Harvey, her beloved cat Fluffernutter, Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and her lifelong friends: Cindy (Shane), Melissa (Ken), Raedine (John), Mary (Pat).

She was predeceased by her Father Donald A. Hunt, Mother Carol J. Grunder, and Brother Timothy Hunt.

The family will be receiving friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home (Corning, NY) on Thursday, December 15th, 2022, from 5:00pm-7:00pm as well as Friday from 10:00am –11:00am with the service at 11:00am. The family will have a private burial. In Lieu of donations to the family, we ask that donations be sent to the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
