Marcia Jean Hix

Marcia Jean Hix, 77, of Corning, NY passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.

She was born August 22, 1945, in Somerville, Massachusetts to Francis J. Gallant and Evelyn M. Peterson.

Marcia had been the cook for the Plimoth Plantation Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

She liked to paint, quilt, cook and she loved her cats.

Marcia is survived by her children, Dominic Hix of Lusby, MD, Yvette (Eric) Sterbenk of Corning, NY and Edward Hix of Woodlawn, VA; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a sister Phyllis Barry and brothers Arthur Gallant, Paul Gallant and Stephen Gallant. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
