Painted Post, NY - Linda A. Johnston, 70, of Painted Post, NY died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Wilmot Cancer Institute in Rochester, NY.
She was born on November 29, 1947 in Corning, NY the daughter of Kenneth and Genevieve (Baker) Wheeler. Linda married John Johnston in 1985.
She retired from Bethany Village in Horseheads, NY where she practiced as an Licensed Practical Nurse
Linda is survived by her husband, John Johnston; children, Todd Johnston and fiance, Alisia Edwards, Casey Johnston and fiance, Mackenzie Stratton, Kim Johnston, Mark (Christina) Johnston, Ryan (Theresa) Johnston; grandchildren, Emalyn Johnston, Maxwell Nudd, Sydney, Madison, Gabriel Johnston, Ryan Johnston Jr., Tabitha Hammond,Jodi Hammond, Alden Johnson,Zodie Vitulli, Melanie and Ashley Wheeler, Mathew and Bethany Little.; siblings, David and Gerlinda Wheeler, Susan and Kevin Little.
The family will receive friends at the Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Friday August 3, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Chapel Knoll Cemetery, Coopers Plains, NY at 10 A.M.
Memorial donations may be made in Linda's name to the American Cancer Society.
