Obituary

Kim Rene Loud age 63, of South Corning, New York left this earth on her heavenly journey to join loved ones on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 6, 1959 in Corning, New York to Robert and Betty (Wainwright) Larrison.  She was a graduate of East High School.  After high school she married her Husband, Kurtis Loud, and began raising her family.  Kim enjoyed daily moments in prayer, and brought compassion and love to everyone she met.  She led a life full of faith and devotion to God.  Her selflessness was present in everything she did including volunteering at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church and the South Corning Fire Department Auxiliary.

Kim dedicated her life to her family and home.  She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild, often cheering at their softball and baseball games, going to school events, and being their biggest supporter.

An avid gardener, she loved flowers, landscaping, and being outdoors whenever she could.

Left to cherish her memories are her Husband of almost 46 years (July 3rd), Kurtis B. Loud; Children, Angela Cook, Joshua (Heather) Loud, Dana (Carrie Vooght) Loud; Grandchildren, Skylar, Sienna, Nora, Kalvin, Harrison, soon to be born Elijah; Great-grandchild, Braxtyn; Siblings, Marcine (Floyd) Mayers and Kevin (Ulrike) Larrison; Aunt, Winona (Gerald Schichtel) Cahue.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Acly-Stover Funeral Home from 10 am to 12 p.m.  Private funeral services will follow with Pastor Vaughn VanSkiver Officiating. Burial will be in Goodsell Cemetery, Hornby, NY.  A child of the 70s, Kim would encourage guests to wear tie dye shirts or casual attire.

Kim’s favorite saying to her family at bedtime was: Sweet Dreams! Say your prayers!
