Jeredeen Fisher Obituary

Jeredeen Fisher slipped from this world with peaceful suddenness on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her home. A woman of quiet grace and gentle resilience, Jeredeen touched the lives of all who knew her with warmth, kindness, and a softness that asked for nothing in return. Though her passing leaves a tender ache in the hearts of those she loved, the beauty of her spirit lives on in every life she brightened.

Born on May 18, 1945, in Ocala, Florida, to her loving parents Jeremiah and Roxie (Palmer) Powell, Jeredeen grew into a woman whose quiet strength and gentle nature became her greatest gifts to the world.

After graduating high school, Jeredeen found her way to Corning, NY, where she built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and kindness. It was there she met William E. Fisher, whom she married on March 5, 1965. Together they raised their children with love, steadiness, and devotion. William passed away on December 19, 2001, and Jeredeen carried his memory lovingly for the rest of her life.

Jeredeen began her career at Corning Inc. and, through perseverance and pride in her work, rose to the position of Inspector. She was respected by her coworkers not only for her skill, but for her easy smile, steady presence, and the warmth she brought into every room.

Jeredeen’s joys in life were simple and sincere. She loved making crafts, baking treats for those she loved, and finding small treasures on shopping trips. She had a quiet love for adventure too—traveling with her daughter across the country to San Diego, CA, and creating unforgettable memories at Disneyland. Those moments of laughter, discovery, and togetherness were among the brightest in her life.

Although she often carried herself with a reserved grace, Jeredeen had a beautiful softness to her, a woman who refused to let drama or negativity take root. When she let you into her world, you discovered someone funny, giggly, and full of light. She had a way of making others feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated simply by being herself.

Jeredeen leaves behind her children, Carmen Fisher and her partner Robinson Brignoni, William Fisher, and her youngest, Annette Fisher. Each carries her love, wisdom, and memory in their hearts always.

In honor of Jeredeen’s compassion and her love for all living beings, memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter or a veterans’ agency.

Her absence leaves a space that words can scarcely describe, but her legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her. The family will hold a private service to honor her life, sharing memories and love in the quiet way she always appreciated. Burial will take place in Hope Annex Cemetery, Corning, NY.
