Corning - Jean Elizabeth Hickey, 75, of Corning, NY passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at home.
Jean was born May 29,1948, in Corning, NY the daughter of Alfred R. and Laura M. (Heverly) Wilcox.
She was a 1968 graduate of Corning East High School.
Tom and Jean E. Wilcox were married in St. Patrick's Church in Corning on March 28, 1969. Tom predeceased her on June 26, 2021.
Jean retired from Corning Hospital where she worked as a clerk.
She enjoyed counted cross stitch, gardening and crossword puzzles.
Jean is survived by her children, Thomas C. (Zaidy) Hickey Jr. of Corning and Tammy L. Hickey of Corning; granddaughter, Jenna M. Hickey of Corning. She was also predeceased by her son, Timothy E.L. Hickey and brother Alfred Wilcox.
The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.
