Howard M. Green Jr.

Howard M. Green Jr., age 70, of Painted Post, NY passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Corning, NY on June 29, 1951 the son of Howard M. and Allegra "Pat" I. Travis Green Sr.

Howard was a graduate of Corning-Painted Post West High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He married Deborah M. Spaulding on February 25, 1978 and they spent the next 44 years together.

Howard’s favorite place on earth was Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and spending  time with his beloved dog, Ripper.

He was a retiree of Corning Incorporate.

Howard is survived by his loving Wife, Deborah M. Green of Painted Post; Daughters, Stacy (Kevin) Ferris of Lindley, NY, Tiffany (Sean) Griswold of Elmira, NY, Megan (Hobart) Ouderkirk of Hammondsport and Hillary (Kiernee) Machuga of Addison, NY; Sisters, Sandy (Tab) Lancaster of Lake Keowee, SC and Karen (Ron) Drake of Caton, NY; Grandchildren, Hayden, Reese, Lillian, Wyatt, Carly, Collins and Marlee soon to arrive; Brother-in-law's, Bill (Joni) Spaulding, Anthony David; Sister-in-law's, Linda (Alan) Golkiewicz; Joan (Stephen) Tamaska and his faithful canine companion, Ripper.  He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Elaine Stauber and brother-in-law, Vinny

The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2022 from Noon to 2:00 p.m.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Syd McCrorey Officiating.
