Helen C. West

Helen C. West, age 76, of Corning, New York left this earth on her heavenly journey to join loved ones on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

While she will be missed by many, we are thankful that she is again in the arms of her beloved husband Daniel R. West Sr., who died in 2014.

Born in Corning, New York on September 23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Helen A. (Hamilton) Chambers.  

Helen dedicated her life to her family as a talented homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother whose life was centered on family.  In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her son, Daniel R. (Theresa) West of Corning, NY; brother, Fran (Linda) Chambers of Corning; grandchildren, Brett (Megan) West of Corning, NY, Brandi  West (Alex Carmody) of Corning, NY, Sabrina Frank of Bath, NY and Haley (Bryan) McCreery of Campbell, NY; great grandchildren, Luca West, Lincoln West, Ivan McCreery and Cash Carmody.  She was predeceased by her husband, daughter Margo and her husband Ken Frank, sister, Margaret and her husband Lorenzo King, brother Doug and his wife Rita Chambers, sisters Joanne and her husband Jack Smith and Deborah Chambers.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
