Harry Robert Lindbloom

Harry Robert Lindbloom, 81, of Corning, NY passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at Corning Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Corning, NY on July 30, 1942, to Elmer F. and Doris I. (Decker) Lindbloom.

Harry grew up in Corning and graduated from Northside High School. 

Harry was a jack-of-all trades and started his own business as a painter. When he wasn’t at a job site, he would be playing basketball or tennis and was an avid bowler. His favorite teams were the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Local history was his passion and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge as well as working with other historians in the community. 

Harry leaves behind his devoted brother, John Lindbloom of Corning and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, father and brother Richard Lindbloom.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024, at Hope Cemetery, Corning, NY.
