George S. DeWolf Jr., 72, of Lindley, NY passed away peacefully Monday, July 10, 2023, at home.
George was born May 28, 1951, in Corning, NY the son of Nellie G. (Ruggles) and George S. DeWolf, Sr. George was predeceased by his parents, brother Gary DeWolf, sister Joan DeWolf, several aunts and uncles.
George is survived by his son Timothy DeWolf of Bath, NY. Brother Thomas (Laurie) DeWolf of Talbott, TN. Grandchildren Tiffani (Gary) Scott and their children Ian, Elliot, Libby and Rebekah of Pace, IL., Derek DeWolf of Elmira, NY. Cousins, Barbara Yartym Lusk of Honeoye, NY and Ann Yartym Fleischman of Naples, NY. Former wife Kathy (Blaine) Chambers of Painted Post, NY. Former sister-in-law, Pamela DeWolf of Campbell, NY. Friend Candy Youngs of Bath, NY.
George retired as a Kiln Operator for Corning Incorporate. He was in the United States Army Reserves and was honorably discharged.
George loved camping, sitting by the camp fire in his front yard and rooting on his favorite baseball team, the Yankees.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family in Hope Cemetery, Corning, NY.
