Francis B. Knapp

Francis Knapp, born May 7, 1943, residing in Big Flats, NY passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Jacqueline Knapp; children Francis "Greg" Knapp, Jeffery Knapp and Kimberley Cribb; grandchildren Kasandra Pierson, Aaron Cribb, Morganne (Dominic) Stevens, Dawson Knapp and Carter Felker; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters Delores McClements and Ellie Castrilli; brother-in-law David Welch.  He was predeceased by his brother Dale Knapp and sister Ann Ritter.

He loved spending time at family cookouts, playing horseshoes, cornhole, riding his motorcycle through the years and working in his garage.  He also enjoyed playing golf with Jeff, going to the Casinos, buying lottery tickets and watching the Buffalo Bills play.  He was an all around great guy!

He worked at Corning Inc., for 39 years as a design cutter at Steuben and the Main Plant.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Townline Cemetery.
