It is always difficult to say goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must now say goodbye to their beloved Elizabeth A. "Liz" Miller-Davidson, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61 on June 7, 2025.
Liz was the cherished daughter of Alfred A. and Betty J. (Smith) Miller, born on May 11, 1964, in Urbana, New York.
She was a 1982, graduate of Savona Central School. In 1987, Liz began her career with the Bath Veterans Administration where she held several positions prior to landing at the Police Department, where she became a cornerstone of the office in her role as Administrative Officer. Her dedication, professionalism, and warm presence left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community.
Liz was known for her infectious laugh, naughty nature, quick wit, and kind heart. She brought joy to those around her and was loved by many. Her kindness and willingness to help anyone at any time of the day was seen and felt by her loved ones, her colleagues and the Veterans she served.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Adam Davidson and countless children she claimed as her own, as well as her family and countless friends. She was predeceased by her parents and special Aunt Liz.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Acly-Stover Funeral Home, 327 E. Second Street, Corning, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Seamans Cemetery in Savona, NY.
