Edward A. Spear

Campbell, NY - Edward A. Spear, 71, of Campbell, NY, died Friday, February 9, 2018, at home.

He was born September 25, 1946, in Corning, NY, the son of Aden P. and Catherine R. (Shoemaker) Spear.

Ed worked for Polly-O for 38 years.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Kathleen (Chaffee) Spear of Campbell; Mother, Catherine Putman of Campbell; Children, Andrew (Lori) Spear of Campbell, Shawn (Christine) Spear of Campbell and Terry Horton of Elmira; Sister, Shirley Anderson of Campbell; Step-Daughter, Wendy Owens; Step-Son, Alan (Karen) Pipe; several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and his faithful dog and companion, Benji.

Ed was predeceased by his father, Aden Spear, daughter, Wendy Woodard and step- father, Leslie Putman.

The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, from 10 am - 11 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rob Hayes Officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be in Campbell Hope Cemetery.
