Painted Post, NY - Duane M Cooper, 81, of Painted Post, NY passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at Corning Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1939 in Syracuse, NY the son of Carl J. and Roslyn Sweet Cooper. He married Joyce A. Horn Cooper on April 16, 1960.
Duane retired from the Village of Painted Post Department of Public Works where he worked in the water treatment plant.
He was a volunteer fireman with the Painted Post Volunteer Fire Dept. He also coached little league baseball.
He is survived by his Children, Robert A. Cooper, Timothy Cooper (Debbie), Daughter-in-law, Sheila Cooper, and Jennifer (Daniel) Gulick, and Grandchildren, Megan Cooper, Ian Cooper, Samuel Cooper, Benjamin Cooper, Patrick Gulick, Nathaniel Gulick, Jonathan Gulick, and Mary Katharine Gulick.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Cooper and son, Duane Cooper.
Services will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Chapel Knoll Cemetery.
