Dorothy Keller Mahoney

Dorothy Keller Mahoney age 89, of Elmira, New York left this earth on her heavenly journey to join loved ones on Sunday, December 12, 2021.  

She was born June 11, 1932 in Corning, New York to Anthony Button and Florence Keller.  

As a wife and as a mother of two children, "Mom" was a dedicated and loving homemaker.  She loved spending the time putting puzzles together.  She especially loved animals, feeding and caring for many.

Dorothy previously attended St. Mary's Church in Elmira.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Michael P. Carey of Leonard, Texas, grandchildren, Ryan Carey of Leonard, Texas and Jamie Biedermann of Richardson, Texas and her great grandchildren, Austin, Lilly and Travis all of Texas.  She was predeceased by her daughter Nan Carey. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in Dorothy's name can be made to the Chemung County SPCA.
