Doris Jean Baker, 84, of Corning, NY formerly of Andover, NY passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Corning Hospital.
She was born July 13, 1936 in Olean, NY the daughter of Frank Barnhart and Marie Aldrich.
Doris was a Supervisor for the Allegany ARC in Allegany, NY.
She liked to travel with her partner Bill to Antigua to go fishing and traveling to see her family.
Doris is survived her Sons, Kevin (Judy) Baker of Lowell, NC, Guy (Shelly) Guns-Baker of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Lee Baker of Cumming, GA; Grandchildren, Bradley Baker and Brent (Tristan) Baker; Holly Baker, Amber Guns, Krystal (Nick) Brown, Michael Fisher, Xania (Preston) Lovingood, Brianna Baker, Shawn Baker, Scott (Amy) Nichols, Brian (Elizabeth) Nichols; Great Grandchildren, Kaiden, Sabrina, Killian, Ty, Tessa, Avery, Jaden, Dakotah, Emma and Noah; Brothers, Leslie Behn of Rochester, NY, Lowell Behn of East Aurora, NY, sisters, Donna (Dave) Ford of Scio, NY, Alice Howland of Andover, NY, and Barbara Hoagland of Wellsville, NY, Sister-in-law, Carol Behn of Andover, NY; many nieces and nephews; many other extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Kenneth Behn and Robert Barnhart, sister-in law, Patricia Behn, brother-in-laws, Patrick Howland, Gary Hoagland, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Baker and her significant other, Bill Evans.
The Family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Syd McCroy Officiating.
