Donna L. VanPelt

Donna L. VanPelt, 76, of Caton, NY passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Robert Packer Hospital.

Donna was born June 13, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Earl W. and Mary (Lapotka) Spears.  She was a graduate of Corning Free Academy.

Donna retired from Corning Inc. She loved car rides, taking cruises and traveling when ever she could.  She enjoyed crafting but especially crocheting.  Mostly, Donna loved her grandchildren and the time spent with them was precious to her.  

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth H. Spears of Caton, NY; brother, Richard E. Spears of Lakeshore, CA; granddaughter, Michelle (Frank) Thompson of Bradford, NY; grandson, James Heath of Bloomfield, NY; several other great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Leland R. VanPelt.
