Dawn Marie Moss (Gould), 73, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026.

A woman of remarkable versatility, Dawn excelled in many different roles throughout her life and embraced each with enthusiasm, talent, and grace. She was an athlete, executive assistant, homemaker, bank teller, music teacher, musician, and expert crocheter. No matter the chapter of her life, Dawn brought creativity, determination, and kindness to everything she did.

A gifted musician, Dawn played the clarinet, piano, violin, and ukulele. Music was a lifelong passion that brought her joy and connected her with countless friends and family members. She shared that joy generously, teaching music and performing alongside others throughout her life.

Dawn was also known for her remarkable skill with crochet. She lovingly created countless blankets, sweaters, scarves, and hats for friends and family, each stitch carrying her warmth and care. Among her favorite creations were the sweaters she made for her beloved dogs, Tarzan and JD, who were never short on handmade fashion.

After retirement, Dawn and Ken embarked on one of life's greatest adventures together, traveling across America in their RV. Along the way, they played music with friends from coast to coast, explored national parks, gathered in the driveways of dear friends, and made lasting memories in family campgrounds. They found joy not only in the destinations but in the people they met and the experiences they shared along the way.

Dawn will be remembered for her generous spirit, her creativity, her love of music, and the deep devotion she showed to her family and friends. Her life was rich with adventure, laughter, friendship, and love, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Dawn is once again with her beloved husband, Ken Moss, and her mother, Eldora Gould. She is survived by her father, Ralph Gould; her son, Andrew Moss; her daughter, Brianne Moss Alexander and son-in-law, Eric Alexander; her daughter, Heather Moss-Layman and son-in-law, Chand Layman; and her cherished granddaughter, Loie Layman. She is loved and missed by many more friends and family members who loved and laughed with her, even in her final days.

Service details will be announced at a later date, with a celebration of Dawn and Ken’s life planned for August 2026.
