Carole L. Ross

Carole Ross, age 84, of Corning, New York left this earth on her heavenly journey to join loved ones on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

She was born in Middletown, New York on March 23, 1938. She was raised by Floyd and Bernice Ross.

Carole was a graduate of Northside High School and Corning Community College where she was the first female to attended the machinist internship program. 

She retired from Baker Hughes in Arlington, Texas as a machinist.

Carole loved playing bingo, casino games and taking her cruises.

She is survived by her children, Terrie (Mark) Bender of Elmira, James "Bud" J. Phillips of Florida, John (Lisa) Smith of Florida, Debra Phillips of Corning, Lyman "Bill" (Diane) Phillips of Texas and Brandie Beard of Texas; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Kim Phillips.  She was predeceased by her son Floyd Robert Phillips, brothers Robert Ross and Bruce Ross and sister Geraldine Thompson.
