Carol Aldrich Obituary

It is not goodbye it is until we see you again to Carol Ann Aldrich who left us to begin another journey on October 12, 2024, with her daughter and sister at her bedside.  Carol was born to Playford and Gertrude (Smith) Sheets on November 7, 1950, in Waterloo, NY. Carol was a mother, a sister, a grandmother, a great grandmother, an aunt, and a friend too many. Carol was predeceased by her second husband Robert Elliott, third husband Raymond (Rube) Aldrich, her parents Playford and Gertrude Sheets, her brother-in-law Jerry Payne, and her companion of 31 years Kenneth Beyea. Carol is survived by her four children Paula (Kevin) Parsons, Roger (Marion) Sheets, Bradley Elliott, and Theresa Sheets. Along the way Carol acquired eight stepchildren with whom she maintained relationships with. Carol is also survived by her siblings Kathleen Payne, Stephen (Julia) Sheets, Playford (Sandra) Sheets. Carol was blessed with sixteen grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Carol moved to Florida where she resided for 31 years before relocating back to NY after the passing of Kenny where she spent the last few years of her life. In those 31 years she enjoyed visits from family and friends. Many days were spent fishing, at the beach, sightseeing, or just hanging around Kenny and Carol’s home. They welcomed anyone that wanted to come with open arms. Grandchildren Britany and Kelsea have many wonderful memories throughout the years of being able to visit with grandma in Fla not all the grandchildren were able to have this opportunity but know that she loved and talked about every one of you. The family would like to thank the Bampa's House and all of the volunteers that helped with Carol’s care in her final days, Care First for their services, a special thank you to the friends that she made at Dayspring Apartments that came to visit her or asked about her, and thank you to her nephew Timothy for bringing his dog Luca to visit that brightened her day. Thank you to granddaughter Britany for always calling and checking on her and sitting with her when she needed you the most although it was tough. It was Carol’s request to have no services, and a celebration of life would be held later at the discretion of the family. Since Carols wishes were not to have services in replacement of flowers donations could be made to the Bampa's House and Care First in memory of Carol. Thank you to all those that have already made donations to the Bampa's House words cannot express gratitude.
