Carmen E. Miller, age 74, of Corning, NY entered his heavenly home on May 31, 2024. He was ushered into the presence of his personal Lord and Savior.
Carmen was the son of Gerald and Gladys (Patterson) Miller. He was born March 16, 1950, in Corning, NY and was the middle of three sons.
Carmen was a graduate of East High School, (Class of 1968). During his high school years, he wrestled and played football for the high school team.
Carmen is best known for his strong ties to the Corning area and as owner of the Maui Mutt truck in the 1980's. Afterwards he owned and operated a restaurant in Maui, Hi and in Surfside Beach, SC. At one point in his life, Carmen worked security for a contract company in Saudi Arabia.
Carmen accepted God into his life. He loved his bible, Jesus, and fellow saints; as well as all he came to meet.
Carmen is survived by a brother, James (Danette) Miller; niece Rachel Miller; several cousins and his neighbors who treated him as family, Maryann, Sherry, Diane and Mary. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Jerry Miller.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
