It is with great sadness that the family of Brian K. Gee announce his passing on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 56.
Brian was the son of the late Ralph H. and Clara J. (Knapp) Gee Sr., born May 27, 1968, in Elmira, NY. The son-in-law of Gary (Ramona) Plate of Corning, NY; The only parents he knew since his own passed.
He was a 1987 graduate of Corning West High School. Brian was a faithful attendant of His Tabernacle Family Church in Horseheads, NY and an honorary member of His LineCrossers Motorcycle Ministry. He found peace and solace in his faith.
Brian loved rebuilding and restoring old cars. He had a gift for bringing new life to those old cars. Not only was restoration a passion, but he also loved painting and upholstery. It was his love for the body shop that led him to employment at Ward Apparatus in Horseheads, NY as the Lead Body Shop Supervisor. Brian worked on fire and rescue vehicles and also did many restorations. It was never just a job to him; it was his passion! He loved and cherished everyone at Ward and considered them family.
Brian loved spending time with his family: his kids and grandchildren were his life. He cherished every moment he spent with them. Nobody was a stranger to Brian. Everybody that knew him loved him. He was also known for his love for Jesus and his animals.
He is survived by his loving wife Tounja Gee of Campbell, NY; children Joshua (Emma-Leigh) Gee of Addison, NY, Jessie (Gary) Raum of Coopers Plains, Laurie (Peter) Abreu of Bath, NY and Brian Rose who is thought of as a son; sister Pamela (James) Cosgrove of Corning; brother Ralph (Len) Gee Jr. of the Philippines; grandchildren Jaid’a Abreu, Skyler Abreu, Summer Abreu, Samuel Abreu, Kirra Elder, Reagan Elder, and Karson Raum; several nieces, nephews and many friends; his faithful canine companion Kermit. I would also like to mention his brother's and sister's in-laws that he absolutely adored: Andre (Debbie) Pryer of North Carolina; Robert (Suzette) Johnston of Maryland; Jason (Amber) Felker of Corning, NY and Allen Plate of Corning, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Cynthia Moore and his mother-in-law Ramona Plate.
A celebration of life will be at His Tabernacle in Horseheads on the 22nd of February at 11:00 am.
