Bonnie Louise Hackett

Bonnie Louise (Crane) Hackett, age 77, of Prattville, Alabama, formerly of Corning, New York, left this earth to join her first love, Jesus Christ and her loved ones who have gone before on Sunday, October 22, 2023. 

She was born October 15, 1946, in Rochester, New York to Durwood J. and Lois R. (Mack) Crane.  She was a graduate of Greece Olympia High School.

Bonnie was married to her beloved husband, William Hackett, for 56 years.  Their marriage bore 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  She spent her professional career as a Customer Service Representative for Corning Museum of Glass.  She retired in 2017.  Bonnie’s real joy was serving her family and others in her church family at Hope Church, formerly Christian Hope Center.  She will be greatly missed.  We will miss her ever quiet, gentle spirit and her beautiful, dimpled smile.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, William O. Hackett, III of Prattville, AL, her daughters, Patricia Louise (Sean) Enright, Christina Marie (Brendan) McDonald, and Billie Katherine (William) Simonson, her brothers Richard, James, Robert and John Crane and 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie is predeceased by her loving parents and numerous other family members and church friends.

The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home, 327 E. 2nd St., Corning, New York on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Hope Church, 22 John St., Corning, New York with Pastor David Hackett officiating.

Bonnie will be buried at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, New York.

Memorial donations in Bonnie’s name may be made to her favorite charity, St Jude’s Children's Hospital.
