Anthony V. Nieves, 37, of Corning, passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born on November 1, 1988, in Yonkers, he was the son of the late Joseph Anthony Nieves and Carrie Lee Watt.
Anthony was a talented artist who loved drawing, especially graffiti artwork, where his creativity and natural talent truly shined. He enjoyed bowling, working with his hands, and was known as a jack of all trades. His carpentry skills and strong work ethic earned the respect of many. His strong personality, generous heart, and dedication to those he cared about will never be forgotten.
Anthony dedicated himself to hard work throughout his life. He was employed with Pudgie's Pizza and Crystal Lanes, where his dependable nature and willingness to help others reflected the kind of man he was every day.
He is survived by his beloved 5 year old daughter, whom he loved dearly; his sister, Tina Trosen; his loyal friend, Peter Rossettie; Barbara Rossettie, who cared for Anthony as if he were her own son; and his longtime friend, Francina Marvin.
