Linda Luedeman Obituary

Corning, NY - Linda Marie Luedeman, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

She was born September 6, 1947 to Arthur and Dorothy Roe in Corning, NY and attended Corning schools, graduating from Corning Painted Post East High School in 1965. She graduated in 1965 from Eastern Airline School in Hartford, Connecticut, worked for a short time in Rochester, NY then returned to Corning where she married Roger Luedeman and lived in East Corning with their two daughters, Kathryn and Amy.

Linda was an avid Geneologist, having painstakenly completed family trees for many local, national and international individuals. Her passion was crocheting and knitting for others plus needy non-profit organizations. Mahjong and Words with Friends on the computer kept her busy on cold winter days. During holidays she was the recipient of Letters to Santa and greatly enjoyed playing Santa's Elf, answering the letters she received. She loved to travel with her husband, especially to Florida to visit family.

Linda is survived by her husband, Roger Luedeman; daughter Kathryn Anderson and fiance Michael Hill of White Mills, Pennsylvania, daughter Amy McCall and husband Timothy of Orlando, Florida and sister, Brenda O'Brien of New York and Florida. Linda was blessed with four grandchildren, Ryan Anderson of Aberdeen, Maryland, Amanda Anderson, of North East, Maryland, Kylie McCall and Maggie McCall both of Orlando, Florida.

No services are planned at this time as per Linda's request. A Celebration of Life is planned for the spring. Memorial donations may be sent in her name to CareFirst Hospice in Corning, New York.
