Painted Post, NY - Geraldine Ann Harrington, 78, of Painted Post, NY, died January 18, 2018 at Corning Hospital.
She was predeceased in death by her loving Daughter, Patti Smith and Parents, Walter and Anna (Pagano) Blodgett.
She is survived by her Husband, Leon Harrington of Beaver Dams; Children, Penny (Danny) Weaver of Campbell, Peter (Mary Bennett) Harrington of Campbell and Son-in-law, Rick Smith of Coopers Plains; Brothers, Harry (Bernice) Blodgett of Corning and Walter "Boogie" (Judy) Blodgett of Painted Post; Grandchildren, Stephanie (Brian) Miller and their children Caleb, Ella and Keira, Ricky Smith and his children Lacey, Dylan and McKenzie, Stacie (Doug) Riff, Tommy (Ashley) Smith and their children Kaidyn and Raegan, Alexys Harrington, Kyle Smith, Chelsea (Colin Tuttle) Bennett and their daughter Violet, Matt Bennett and Katie Bennett; And numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Gerri was born January 17, 1940 in Corning, NY. She married Leon on April 27, 1957 and enjoyed 61 years of marriage. She loved traveling, cooking, her birds and flowers. She was a beautiful, caring, compassionate woman.
Her family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Absolut Care who took excellent care of her during her last year of life.
A Celebration of Life for Geraldine will be held at the Campbell American Legion on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 12:00p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
